COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The lager is the lightest, most refreshing of our beers. It's a classic Bavarian style lager with a delicious bready malt palate and an assertive noble hop finish. It just makes your mouth beg for more...
Called Winter Vintage when released during the winter.

Very nice light and airy lager, putting me in mind of Stoudt?s Export from years ago. Beautiful rocky head. Light spiciness and excellent balance. Faint sourness which stays in its place. Good, but ridiculously overpriced. After three tries with this, I came to find this was not the masterpiece I had anticipated. Not bad even so.

Had a couple of these on a booze cruise as part of Plymouth beer day. Aroma has malt and grassy hops. More of the same in the flavor, along with a little citrus. This is just a little better than I expect out of what is usually a boring style.

I can’t believe all the decent ratings on this site for a beer that was solidly sub par. +++My wife brought this one back from a trip to Rochester NY. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly cloudy yellow-golden color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with notes of fruit, bread and corn. The flavor was tangy, bitter and corny with light notes of bread, lemon and butter. Medium body. Underwhelming.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours golden with a thick, off-white head. Aroma of cereal, bread, and pale malts with a little floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer.

Has a bright yellow haze color. Feels zesty on tongue. Has a light tangy aroma. Very refreshing. Has a nice blend of bready malt and hops. I’ve taken an instant liking to this one. Nice job on this one.

Gold, very slight haze, nice head. Aroma is pleasantly bready. Flavor is primarily bready malts, just a faint hint of floral hops, good bitterness on the finish. Nice beer, better than the numbers here.

a very good summer beer, during a season when theres not too much to get excited by, most summer styles, even from good brewers, are a little bland. This has a very strong aroma for such a light colored beer, and the flavor is hoppy and refreshing.

amber colored minimal head, next to no lacing... light malty aroma, some nice grassy hops... lightly toasty, very distinct grassy hops, similar to brooklyn lager, which is why i thought it to be a vienna lager, nice beer but a touch too much for summer drinking in quantity... very nice beer...

It pours a slightly cloudy pale yellow with a thin head and thin lacing. Mainly malty on the nose with a lemon twist and a hint of sulfur. The body is fairly creamy and smooth and about medium weight. The taste is more bitter than I imagined but not unlikeable.

Great summer beer. I just wish it was easier to get in MD. My bottle had a bit of bitterness to it, but it was very slight and didn’t take away from the enoyment

Bottle. 12 oz. Split with myself. Cheers. Fucking A right, doggie. Pours yellow with a white fizzy head. Aroma of corn, lemon, starchy crackers, hay, straw, and slight funkiness. Medium to light bodied with a rather pilsner-like mouthfeel. Flavors of saltine crackers, brine, soft lemon, and tea notes. Pretty cool summer sipper. And that’s all she wrote.
