An amber English-style ale that has a nice balance between hops and malt. It's the most popular of our beers and the most versatile in terms of pairing with food or people.

Drank it with Erik at Solas Irish pub. Drank it out of a bottle. Aroma has light citrus notes and a vague graininess. It’s good but too light, a little bit watery. But it’s decent enough to order another one.

Sessionable beer. Doesn’t jump off the page but enjoyable. Some sweetness up front, very light on the his for a pale ale. Color is a nice amber, head disappears quickly.

Nice floral aroma. Pours a cloudy orange with decent head that sticks around for the duration. Lovely sweet malt on the tongue with a good fruity hop flavour finishing with a strong bitterness. Awesome beer.

Deep amber color. There is no notable hop aroma. Some malt in the nose. The beer has a good buttery texture but the hop bitters come out before the hop taste.

Light hop aroma, medium amber color, unimpressive flavor, but not bad. - march madness 2014

Bit disappointed to find this isn’t the brewpub version retired in 2007- that would have been an exotic find on the shelves of Pioneer supermarket. Deep coppery brown- not pale- with patchy slick of foam. Aroma of rust, Weetabix, minerals, Allsorts and Hovis biscuits. Said flavour with hints of wet dough, Dolly Mixtures, Allsorts and vaguely spicy (aniseed) notes. Slightly saline finish with retronasal seawater, malt loaf and rust. A respectful imitation of a dull brown English bitter.

Clear copper color with a white ring head. Aroma of perfumy hops. Tinny balanced hop malt backbone with a sharp but malty finish. Tangy bitterness in the aftertaste. It’s ok, but doesn’t compare to something like Sierra Nevada APA.

12 ounce. can. Slightly hazy amber color. Decent sized rocky white head. Fragrant faint caramel malt aroma. Mild toasted malt flavor has hints of bread and black tea. Nicely balance subtle citrus hops. Slight nutty malt in finish. Pleasant but average.
