An amber English-style ale that has a nice balance between hops and malt. It's the most popular of our beers and the most versatile in terms of pairing with food or people.

From a bottle. Pours copper. Tastes like light grains, light roasted malt. Light body and low carbonation. The aroma and look are great, but flavor and palate are 'ok'.

Draught at Logan. Amber-brown-orange with lace. Eatyh hop and caramel nose. Flavor is rich caramel and chocolate malts, earthy hops with a touch of pine and a bit of cinnamon. Fine carbonation. OK.

Pours a cloudy dark orange-brown with about a finger of quickly dissipating head. Some zest and malt in the nose. Largely malted taste with very little hop influence- very rye-heavy. It’s not great, but not bad, it would be better if it was a bit more drinkable (this is a slow sipper)

I had this at Zuma Tex-Mex. Pours amber with a white head. Taste malt, Carmel, bisquit. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 8-17-12 - Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance –The brew was served a clear amber color with a two finger white head. The head faded relatively fast to leave a light amount of lacing. Smell – The aroma was heaviest of caramel and some bready malt aromas. Some citrus and a light pine hop were also present mixed within; although these aromas were on the lighter side. Taste – The taste begins of a bready malt flavor mixed with a lighter caramel sweetness. As the taste advances from there, hop flavors begin to enter the flavor profile. A more mild earthy and piney hop are the first to be detected followed by a light citrus bitter hop. These in the end take away from some of the sweetness and leave a slightly bitter dryness on the tongue. Mouthfeel – A body of the beer was medium with a carbonation level below average. Both suited the more bready nature of the beer quite well. Overall – An OK brew, but nothing really all that special.

Poured a light copper, almost Amber with a thin head of light foam. Aroma was spicy with a sweet fruit note. Great carbonation helped bring out the bitterness of the hops very well and finished with a sweet caramel flavor. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Standard English style pale ale. Even mix of malts and hops. Bit bready, slight fruit notes from hops.
