Had this one on draught at the Logan Airport brewpub in Boston, Massachusetts. Hazy, reddish-brown pour with a wispy tan head, citrusy hoppy nose, a nice caramel malt back, and a clean finish.

Draught at Logan. Amber-brown-orange with lace. Eatyh hop and caramel nose. Flavor is rich caramel and chocolate malts, earthy hops with a touch of pine and a bit of cinnamon. Fine carbonation. OK.

Pours a cloudy dark orange-brown with about a finger of quickly dissipating head. Some zest and malt in the nose. Largely malted taste with very little hop influence- very rye-heavy. It’s not great, but not bad, it would be better if it was a bit more drinkable (this is a slow sipper)

I had this at Zuma Tex-Mex. Pours amber with a white head. Taste malt, Carmel, bisquit. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 8-17-12 - Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance –The brew was served a clear amber color with a two finger white head. The head faded relatively fast to leave a light amount of lacing. Smell – The aroma was heaviest of caramel and some bready malt aromas. Some citrus and a light pine hop were also present mixed within; although these aromas were on the lighter side. Taste – The taste begins of a bready malt flavor mixed with a lighter caramel sweetness. As the taste advances from there, hop flavors begin to enter the flavor profile. A more mild earthy and piney hop are the first to be detected followed by a light citrus bitter hop. These in the end take away from some of the sweetness and leave a slightly bitter dryness on the tongue. Mouthfeel – A body of the beer was medium with a carbonation level below average. Both suited the more bready nature of the beer quite well. Overall – An OK brew, but nothing really all that special.

Poured a light copper, almost Amber with a thin head of light foam. Aroma was spicy with a sweet fruit note. Great carbonation helped bring out the bitterness of the hops very well and finished with a sweet caramel flavor. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Standard English style pale ale. Even mix of malts and hops. Bit bready, slight fruit notes from hops.

Canned. Dark amber with a large white head that is mostly diminishing. Heavily malty aroma with some raisins and cardboard. Chewy malt flavor with husky grains, straw, very faint grapefruit. This is a pretty poor pale ale. A shame.

Bottle shared by sonnycheeba. Pours lightly hazy copper with a medium, tight bubbled off-white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is minty, herbal and grassy hops with biscuit and meal malt. Flavor is moderate hops, lightly tart, medium bitterness, low supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium to light body and medium carbonation.

Clear amber leaning towards copper pour with a pretty minimal head that doesn’t leave much lace at all. Spicy, fruity nose with caramel and earth undertones. Fairly earthy on the palate with a decent amount of fruit and spice. Enjoyable but might benefit from a little more carbonation.
