Cisk was launched in Malta in 1928. It is a golden-coloured lager with a distinctive and well-balanced character. Its rich hop aroma and pleasant bitterness, combined with a mild astringency, make it an outstanding thirst-quencher. Its alcohol content is 4.2%.
Cisk Lager was awarded top prize in the International Lager Category at the 1995 Australian Beer Awards and was presented with the Pfizer Food Science Trophy for the lager obtaining the highest number of votes in the same competition.

On tap at Giorgio’s Cafe, Sliema. Pale yellow with a nice white head. Lightly malty aroma with hints of metal and cooked vegetables. Sweet and lightly malty with a hint of honey. There is actually hints of hops and bitterness in the finish with also maked this more drinkable. The metallic tast is a bit annoying, but its a drinkable pale lager in the heat on Malta. Not my first choice... (2012-09-22)

En klassisk ljus lager till både utseende, doft och smak. Okej som törstsläckare i ett mycket varmt klimat, inte mer.

500ml bottle - a typically golden body, with a surprising lasting white head. The nose is strong hops, the taste is slightly acidic and bitter, but not too unpleasant. A fairly high score for a lager!

Bottle thanks to Olivia and Stine: Clear golden with a medium frothing white head. Mild sweetish aroma of brewing cereal with light notes of grassy hops. Fresh clean flavor, milld sweetness and light bitterness with a decent medium bitter finish. Works well in the heat.
