2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 cheapdark (2960) - Quiptown & Central Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 3, 2008
When you look at it in the glass it is ubiquitous pale yellow lager in appearance. Perhaps I detect a mild light clean metallic olfactory, in a good way. On the tongue, it has a haylike easygoing crisp sharp veggies infringement. Light honey hints, not heavy. It possesses an almost fruitlike quality. Nice carbonation. Not bad for a pale lager. Finish has a meek brittle linger. Good session brew. S5L2T5F3O13
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ernest (5183) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Bottle (BB Oct/2008).
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), with light notes of DMS and soap.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly unclean.
Light to medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Not too bad, certainly better than most industrial pale lagers, but still not very inviting. Wouldn’t mind trying a really fresh sample someday, though.

Draught and canned @ all over Malta, 2004. Golden color, white head. Slight malty aroma and just a touch of hops. Fairly watery body with some malts. Not a bad pale lager, but ... well, it’s still a pale lager.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 alaskanwarren (286) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2008
Pleasant lager vibe with some resinous aroma. Flavor has some decent malt and grain to it, with more of the somewhat noticeable hops as well. I’d order it again. I had this from a can, so zero skunkage.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 blipp (3920) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - AUG 28, 2008
Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Lightly sweet aroma with a hint of grassy hops. Malty straw flavor and just a hint of hops. Not bad.

whoooooo put the skunk in the bottle? Poured with a huge thick foamy white head. Plenty of lace. Flavor wasn’t quite as bad. Not saying a lot. Decent body. pale gold color. Think this one was light struck and woulda been a whole lot better before the dastardly deed. Too bad as this is a sample and therefore won’t be carried.
0.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Crosling (1861) - Loveland, Colorado, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Sampled side by side with Cisk Extra Strength Lager. A very light yellow/golden colored beer with a small white colored head, nearly identical in appearance to the XS. Nose smells of grain, corn, husk with a bit of herb, seaweed and ocean water. Just horrendous, but better than having no aroma, I suppose. Flavor is incredibly awful and undrinkable. Dirty, unclean and awful tasting. What a terrible beer.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Borresteijn (2757) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 12, 2008
On tap on Malta. I didn’t like the island, but their beer was OK. Very shiny golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of hops, malts, grass. Flavour is crisp, soft fruity and hoppy, with a citrus twist. A bit watery but very refreshing. Nice lager.

Bottle. Crystal clean yellow in color with a pure white head. It has a grassy, hoppy aroma. It has a bit of a hoppy bite with a nice light malty balance. It is light in body and has a clean finish.

Malta, I had to look at a map to remember where that is. I give them credit, they brew an OK lager. I was expecting something bad when I cracked it open. Nothing bad to say about it really.
