Cisk was launched in Malta in 1928. It is a golden-coloured lager with a distinctive and well-balanced character. Its rich hop aroma and pleasant bitterness, combined with a mild astringency, make it an outstanding thirst-quencher. Its alcohol content is 4.2%.

Cisk Lager was awarded top prize in the International Lager Category at the 1995 Australian Beer Awards and was presented with the Pfizer Food Science Trophy for the lager obtaining the highest number of votes in the same competition. 10.5°

Bottle dated Apr 09: Honey and mildew aroma, lemon zest. Crystal clear amber, medium head, some lacing. Metallic hay and honey, soft carbonation. Light body, surprisingly refreshing. Enticingly quaffable. Really held up to time quite well.

0.33L can. Clear yellow color with white top. Typical euro pale aroma, metallic an milky hop aroma. Corny, malty, watery. Nothing special for typical euro lagers.

Better than most "industrial" lagers. Color: pale, clear. Taste medium bitterness with no special character. Average carbonation. Ok to have a pint in the pub...

Butelka 0,5 l, beczka. Lekki aromat słodowy. Barwa złota, klarowna. Piana biała, poprawnie oblepiająca szkło. W smaku słodowe, kukurydziane. Wysycenie średnie. Lekka przyjemna goryczka.

Yellowish lager with quickly disappearing white head. Malty, watery lager. Pretty average and non-distinct. Refreshing in the warmth of Malta!

0.5l can. Yellow color with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is malt and corn. Taste is sweet with adjunct notes. Watery palate. It’s pretty average pale lager.

Bottle from Casablanca Brasserie 251014. Standard pale lager with a thin white head that stays for a second and vanishes. Grain and wet straw, which is not too pleasant. There is nothing to distinguish this from the thousands of other pale lagers out there.
