1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Light gold, quite dull, no head. Plastic aroma and a bit of alcohol. Taste is only a little plasticy, and it is cleaner, less grainy than regular Cisk. For the type, itís positively civilized. Malt liquor for adults.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml light brown bottle from local "supermarket" in Malta. Tasty strong lager. Youíve had one, youíll know what this tastes like. Little difference. I enjoyed this. Sweet and malty. Some cereal notes (as expected), and a little bit of glue. Yummy. Bring it on! (Iím so glad there is a local strong lager on Malta!)

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing thin beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
33cl from a supermarked in Sliema. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Classic malt liquor, very sweet, quite malty with a very noticable alcohol content. A bit unpleasant, but drinkable in case of emergency. Way to sweet and alcoholic for my taste, but hints of fruit comes along as I drink. Drinkable, but best avoided in my opinion.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Medium Yellow with a thick lasting white nice lacy head. Smells of sweet malt, grain, with a light fruitiness. There is a bit of staleness. Thin oily body that seems a little syrupy. Tastes of sweet malt, light caramel on the start with fruit like peach with a light bitter citrus lemon that are found in all the other Cisk beers. A touch of alcohol and pepper on the end. Dry. The aftertaste leaves a bit of grass. Iím impressed by how drinkable it is. Its smooth for 9% and not at all harsh.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
0,33l bottle as gift from Malta. Clear, pale orange color with small, creamy, white head. Strong liquor, mlt and alcohol odor. Heavily alcohol flavour altough itís cold. But behind the alcohol thereís a malt and spicy hop flavour. Itís a bit caramel malty. I think itís too much alcohol for this kind of a beer. Intereting that it isnít sweet like other Barley Wines, but itís light bitter. Medium body, slick texture, biting carbonation. Light bitter, liquor finish with alcohol - of course. Not a bad barley wine, I like this hoppy feeling behind the heavy alcohol content. But I prefer other styles of high ABV beers.

yellow with minimal head. booze and corn and some more booze. slightly sweeter than the average lager. the only redeeming feature seems to be that this is from Malta.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours pale yellow with a medium, beige head. The aroma is molasses, corn syrup, and white bread. The flavor is unpleasantly sweet, and the aftertaste is sour and awful. The palate is medium, grainy, and sticky. Overall, this is a terrible, malty beer, with mediocre aroma, and repulsive flavor.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from Odeed. Nose is lots of banana, light alcohol, and hints of bubblegum and lacquer thinner.Clear yellow orange with a medium pale yellow head. Flavor is banana, a strong malty presence, and that hint of lacquer thinner. Kind of reminds in a way of a very strong weizenbock with the banana. Since the highest rated malt liquor I have rated is #45 out of the top 50, I guess this will be my highest rated. Do the best malt liquors come from Malta?

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Way better than the original cisk lager mainly due to its potent unwatered down nature. Malty strong flavor.
