"Extra Sgtrong lager beer"
An outstanding bottom fermented, strong premium lager brewed from barley malt. Its bitter taste and fresh hop aroma gives this high-gravity beer its strong continental lager flavour.

Dark golden pour with a white head. Strong malt and alcohol aroma, a little bit of candied fruit on the end. Sweet and dried fruit flavor, a little alcohol on the finish. Excellent beer for its style and although a bit heavy for the mediteranean weather still pretty refreshing.

Bottled(330ml). -Clear golden coloured, small white head, lively carbonation, medical alcohol nose. The aroma is sweet malty, fresh hoppy and grainy with nice lemon notes. Bitter finish. Easy drinkable and surprisingly fresh for 9%ABV.

Bottle. Yelow with a small creamy head. Strong in alcohol presence but nothing else. Tried whilst on holiday in Malta during September 2011.Not easy to find. Different to most other lagers in Malta but nothing to offer but its strength,

12 oz bottle from Odeed. Nose is lots of banana, light alcohol, and hints of bubblegum and lacquer thinner.Clear yellow orange with a medium pale yellow head. Flavor is banana, a strong malty presence, and that hint of lacquer thinner. Kind of reminds in a way of a very strong weizenbock with the banana. Since the highest rated malt liquor I have rated is #45 out of the top 50, I guess this will be my highest rated. Do the best malt liquors come from Malta?

330ml light brown bottle from local "supermarket" in Malta. Tasty strong lager. Youíve had one, youíll know what this tastes like. Little difference. I enjoyed this. Sweet and malty. Some cereal notes (as expected), and a little bit of glue. Yummy. Bring it on! (Iím so glad there is a local strong lager on Malta!)

Malt Liquor is an appropriate beer style to use in toasting now ex-governor Rod Blagojevich, the scum-bag. Fortunately I just picked this up at the Binnyís in Willowbrook, Illinois - the most corrupt state in the union. This pours a golden body with a respectable, good-lacing head. The aroma is sweet and grainy, has a touch of orchard fruit, and some grassiness. Thereís a touch of caramel and a goodly dosage of alcohol added to the flavor. Crisp finish. Damn. Whilst nothing great, this is still too good for sleaze-ball Rod. I guess Iíll have to throw my shoes at that piece of crap.
Anyways - Hereís to you Blago, you scuzzy dog-dropping! I hope the Feds get you a good, long senetence!

Clear golden color/ white head. Sweet grainy malt, corn flakes aromas. Medium body with light carbonation. Lightly sweet honey slathered white bread flavors with stale corn flakes. Better than most American 40oz ghetto Malt Liquors, way more expensive, too.

0,33l bottle as gift from Malta. Clear, pale orange color with small, creamy, white head. Strong liquor, mlt and alcohol odor. Heavily alcohol flavour altough itís cold. But behind the alcohol thereís a malt and spicy hop flavour. Itís a bit caramel malty. I think itís too much alcohol for this kind of a beer. Intereting that it isnít sweet like other Barley Wines, but itís light bitter. Medium body, slick texture, biting carbonation. Light bitter, liquor finish with alcohol - of course. Not a bad barley wine, I like this hoppy feeling behind the heavy alcohol content. But I prefer other styles of high ABV beers.
