COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A heavy strong stout brewed with coffee, brown sugar and oats. With its powerful quality and morning ingredients it seems parallel to a solid dawn session at Blacks. An inside connection to boutique roasted fare trade beans we were granted the opportunity to make this exceptional brew.

50 cl bottle.
Pours black color with a small beige head. Dark berries on the nose, dry, ashy malts, cocoa powder and dark chocolate, distant coffee also. Lactic notes on the flavor, chocolate, caramel, mild vanilla, some faint berry notes, coffee and faint yeast. I like the coffee and cocoa notes here, the flavor is a bit off though. Very interesting and somewhat unique still.

500ml bottle

Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of coffee, roastiness, salty licorice, dark chocolate and syrup. Taste is salty, roasty and sweetish with some licorice, dark chocolate and coffee. Finish is smooth, salty and slightly roasty with some coffee and syrupy notes. Slightly unbalanced.

50 cl bottle @ home
Aroma has mocha coffee, some peppery tones and vanilla. Flavour has salty licorice, ash, more salt and distant herbal tones. Aroma is nice but this is way too salty. At the end of the glass this starts to feel sour and lactic too. Confusing; I like the coffee notes here, but the salt and sourness ruin the show.

"8.5%. Wouldn’t be able to discern brown sugar if not noted. Loads of coffee in the aroma and flavor., which is quite bitter following on the heels of a very smooth body. Very nice, not quite elite.

Middling black with a gradient slim ringed light brown head. Soured tobacco and itchy sawdust malt nose. Quite disturbingly upfront coffee bitterness. Slightly thin and buzzing mouthfeel, falls back on a tinny almost berry like dried back juiciness.
