COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A heavy strong stout brewed with coffee, brown sugar and oats. With its powerful quality and morning ingredients it seems parallel to a solid dawn session at Blacks. An inside connection to boutique roasted fare trade beans we were granted the opportunity to make this exceptional brew.

Bottled. Pours pitch black with a small, lacing tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, bread, chocolateand licorice notes. Sweet flavor that ends up slightly more dry. Full to medium bodied, oily texture and soft to flat carb. An excellent Impy.

Pours a dark roasted black color with a thick foamy espresso like head that stuck to my glass. The aroma is coffee, chocolate, buttery sweet milk cream, and roasted malts. In tasting I noticed a roasted malt presence with a moderate bitterness. The bitterness was a blend of hops, coffee, and chocolate. I enjoyed the bitterness, it lingers and I was intrigued by the flavor. The finish leaves a bitter dryness which was to my liking. Overall this was a very good brew. I wish the aroma was fresher and that the flavor was more rich. The intensity of the bitterness was spot on. In the end I?d enjoy this beverage again.

Bomber with Z....pours a dark black color with a beautiful java chocolate mocha head. Nose is malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste is rich chocolate and coffee, malt and smooth and velvety. Finish is sweet and ends on the same tasting notes. Another nice beer from yet another California microbrewery. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como
Pitch black color with compact brownish head. Strong aroma of coffee and resiny hops. Thick mouthfeel; strong flavor of roasted malts and some coffee, not too ashy, with moderate residual sweetness and the hop qualities mostly hidden; strong bitterness. There is some lactose in the final.
Quite decent, but if you fancy coffee brews.
