COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A heavy strong stout brewed with coffee, brown sugar and oats. With its powerful quality and morning ingredients it seems parallel to a solid dawn session at Blacks. An inside connection to boutique roasted fare trade beans we were granted the opportunity to make this exceptional brew.

such a great coffee stout, perfect for a morning beer! dark chocolate, some wood, molasses, deep roast (malt and coffee) in nose. Generally black with dark ruby brown on the edges, tan leather head retreats quickly to edges of a tulip and remains there. Big dark/bitter chocolate, some raisin and slight plum give way to coffee, lasting brown sugar finish; origin of bitterness unclear- hops? coffee? astringent but pleasant. Overall a go-to!

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Pours midnight black with a small, creamy, well-tanned head. Good retention. Fat bubbles are scattered here and there. The nose is a luxuriant swirl of brownies, fudge and dark-roast coffee beans with undertones of pouch tobacco and vanilla. Full bodied and silky with tickling carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet chocolate crème flanked by intertwined nuances of caramel and vanilla. Malty, roasty, acrid, cafe con leche finish. World class beer!

Appearance: Jet black with tan head Aroma: Nice bouquet of fresh brewed coffee Taste: Strong coffee flavor that dominates the profile with a bitter roast on the finish. Some molasses and a hint of licorice as well Overall: If you are a coffee infused beer fan than you’ll like this but if not this may be too much for you

A - Pours a dark brown-black with a thin finger of frothy chocolate colored head. The head fades fairly quickly leaving behind some lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of dark chocolate malts, coffee, dark fruit, black licorice, molasses, and a bit of booze. T - Starts off with a mix of dark chocolate malts with some dark fruit, black licorice, and a touch of lactose. Through the middle, roasted coffee comes through with a bit of molasses and some earthy hops. The finish is a mix of dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, black licorice, and a bit of booze. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet, dry, and roasty finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice overall balance with the coffee and chocolate flavors mixing nicely.

Dark brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of black coffee and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, burnt malt and hops. The finish is roasty with a lingering bitter coffee and dark chocolate aftertaste. Solid Coffee Stout overall.

22 oz bomber into a DFH glass. Pours a pitch black with a dark mocha head. Nice level of lacing and retention. Nose is huge on the coffee. When it’s cold it leans towards dry cocoa powder but as it warms up it transforms into rich milk chocolate. Touch of roast and vanilla. Taste is cold pressed coffee and rich chocolate. A little roasted malts, but that’s basically it. It doesn’t need to be complex or layered though, this is delicious. Aftertaste is vanilla rich bitter coffee.Mouth feel is full and creamy. Very impressive beer.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to C-Dog. Pours oily black with a creamy beige head. Rich chocolate on the nose with burnt marshmallows and burnt wood. Medium sweet flavor with lots of charred malts, dirt, rich chocolate, dark fruits. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with further rich, complex chocolate character, decent roast, charred wood. Good stuff. Nice creamy, dark chocolate. Delicious.

Poured on tap from Tony’s Darts in burbank. Black in the glass with an off-white head. It had a coffee aroma with some sweetness. Taste was more coffee with licorice and caramel. Very smooth texture with a long finish. Tasty beer.
