5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Note on the labels, they seem to have changed branding a little bit and I like the new labels a lot. The beer is also awesome. Great example of a West Coast style IPA. Citrus, light-body, more aroma than bitterness, but definitely still tickles your taste buds. Love it!

Poured from a bottle. Deep gold with a hint of orange. White head with lots of lacing. Fruity aroma. The rye comes through in the taste. Decent.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a generous white head that retains well and leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is pine and citrus with a hint of grains and other light fruits. Taste is a big pine and grapefruit hop bitterness with a more subdued caramel and fruity sweetness. Medium bodied with ample carbonation that tickles the tongue. Overall, this is a true delight. Recommended.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
"Tastes like stale pineapples and cat pee", I blurted out to my roommate when I took my first sip of this. Not to suggest this beer is badly done - it has a round, full nose, interesting flavor profile, and a nice smooth finish that isn’t too bitter. I guess I just don’t care for the hop profile they used. I can’t find information about what that is, but it doesn’t seem to be my thing.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. It’s never a great sign when beer erupts from the bottle like a capped volcano. And this initially poured as 80% foam. It eventually settled into a hazy, golden-amber glass, with a defiant cap of rocky foam. There’s little to no distinguishable aroma. The beer drinks cleanly, with whispers of earthy and malty ales of the past. Hints of pine leaf, caramel and malt. Subtle sweet finish. (#5971, 5/17/2015)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Bottle Dog, Kings X, London. Poured a clear amber colour crowned with an off-white head. Nose had some grapefruit, earthy hop and melon but a bit muted. Flavour was similar with a little rye and a solid sweet malt spine. Hops somehow a little smothered. Bitternes ok, but not completely satisfying. Ok IPA if a tad disappointing.

Bier ruikt lekker fris naar citrus. Koperkleurig. Fris bittere smaak die lang blijft hangen. Lekker !

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bomber into nonic pint. Hazy deep orange. Light head. Aroma of big sappy pine, flowers and actually smells like a good cologne I used to have: Polo Blue. Dang this is potent...must have dry-hopped the heck out of it. Taste is of pine needles, earth, bubblegum, grapefruit, mango, grass and caramel rolls. Very complex. Nice medium mouthfeel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft This was a guest beer at the Newport Beach Brewpub. The IPA poured a cloudy amber with a small off white head with lacing. You detect hop aromas of citrus and spice. The ale had a medium body with average carbonation. This is a decent IPA. The finish comes too quickly. Sturdy bitterness cleanses the palate and readies it for another swallow.
