COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the coulter big cone pine tree is a well balanced I.P.A. It brings the style of I.P.A. back to its roots. Brewed with a hint of rye for head retention and a deeper malt character, this brew has the best of all worlds, great hop aroma, a strong body and deceiving strength.

Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, orange zest, floral notes, ghrapefruit zest and light mint. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, light grapefruit and light pine with a smooth dry moderatly bitter finish.

Bronze. Poured with a big head that was slow to dissipate. Slightly sour with a gentle hoppiness. The sourness didn’t really bring anything to this one. A dissapointing IPA.

>> Bottle label confusingly is "IPA" in giant font. Small font in the bottom left says "Coulter". Cloudy, full haze, light orange pour. Weak white foam. Nose is yellow and red apple, vanilla, perfumed orange, flash of vanilla and alcohol. Taste is stickier, red apple skin, walnut, walnut fat. Palate is a tad sharp, but not papery. Not bright, murky. Strange, but inoffensive.

Z is back home and ready to drink. Pours a clear Amber copper color with a nice head. Nose is deep citrus with a predominance of pineapple and passion fruit. Taste is bitter sweet with nice citrus hoppy notes. Finishes on the same tasting notes. Descent ! Quaff Score 7 / 10

Bomber. Pours Ann amber orange with an off white head and sweet, citrusy, tropical aroma. Taste is bittersweet, of citrus and tropical fruit notes with hops and grapefruit into the bittersweet dry finish.

Bottle from Bev Mo. It poured an orange color with an off-white head. The aroma was of hops, pine and some flowers. The taste was of moderate pine, resin and some spice. Nice.

On tap at Kulshan, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out ginger, cinnamon and roasted pumpkin. Flavour is thankfully not too dominated by the spices, but they do sort of take over from the subtler base beer. Nice robustness to this and well-balanced - just not a fan of these pumpkin spiced beers. Good for what it is.

Cloudy golden body, white head. Aroma has some floral notes and pines. Bit yeasty. Some grains, some yeast, not so fresh hops in flavour. Bit unbalanced.
