COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the coulter big cone pine tree is a well balanced I.P.A. It brings the style of I.P.A. back to its roots. Brewed with a hint of rye for head retention and a deeper malt character, this brew has the best of all worlds, great hop aroma, a strong body and deceiving strength.

Pours a cloudy copper color with a medium white head Aroma of juniper and citrus. Fairly even balance between malt and hops, but a little more hops. Good mouth feel. Nice ale.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Rosser. Gusher!! Light orange with schmeggy brownish particles and tons of carbonation. Weak tea-like hops, lightly perfumy, light caramel, moderate bitterness. Thin. Not very good.

Bomber from Delhi Liquor Store, tasted on January 1, 2016. Hazy orange/yellow hue, moderate bittersweet aroma with some fruity character and a bit of resin, medium bittersweet flavor with initial sweet fruitiness, bitterness more toward the finish. Drinks more like an APA than an IPA but not bad.

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Grassy and floral hops, mild-moderate bitterness, faint chamomile (?), and a mild bitter hoppy finish. Not bad.

This beer is so sticky sweet and uninspired. Dull hop profile, under attenuated, sticky malt, abrasive Tylenol kick. No.

Bottle thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear copper with a gold hue and a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy citrus and sweet grains with a bit of resin backing. Flavor has earthy citrus supported by sweet grain, a bit of biscuit and a hint of resin.

DocJitsu (1484) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - OCT 27, 2015
Pours a mostly clear deep golden with an unremarkable white head. Whipped cream, pine, and citrus nose. Moderately pillowy and evaporating on the palate. Some citrus and pine. A cream note. Pretty bitter at the finish.

New batch has a lot of pungent hop aroma, great rye on the palate without being overwhelming. Pretty surprised by the alcohol content. Easy to put down, not to be missed.

Note on the labels, they seem to have changed branding a little bit and I like the new labels a lot. The beer is also awesome. Great example of a West Coast style IPA. Citrus, light-body, more aroma than bitterness, but definitely still tickles your taste buds. Love it!
