COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is named after the the falls at the end of Holy Jim trail in the Trabuco Canyon near the brewery. The refreshing flavor and hoppy aroma of this crisp, clean Extra Pale Ale will certainly be enhanced when standing in the cool waters of the falls when you reach the end of the trail. Throw a couple of these in your bag for the hike and enjoy it to the sound of running water.

Bottle from BevMo, Sacramento. Pours clear golden with a nice off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with a noticeably bitter hoppy finish.

16oz bottle pours deep pale gold with a tall white head of foam. The aroma offers up light airy slightly acidic smelling citrus with a bit of sweetness off in the background. The taste pulses with high carbonation creating tart and bitter citrus tangerine and grapefruit notes with a mild muted sugary maltiness as a base. This stuff is bitter citrus from front to back and comes across quite nicely on this hot day.

Sample at the Hills Market beer tasting on 05/30/2013: Pours a clear bright yellow color with a medium thick foamy white head that recedes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and citrus. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, malt and citrus. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2013 500ml bottle, shared by Jay. Clear golden color. Thin white head. Nice spread of splotchy lace. Good grassy citrusy hop aroma. Biscuity malt. Medium body. Lighter, smooth carbonation. More dry finish. Nice light bitter taste. Pretty nice, solid, easy drinking sessionable and satisfyingly hoppy pale ale. Shared the rest of the bottle with my friends, later. Very sharp hop note, as my friends say. Nice light body, too. Super stuff.

Pours a very pale golden color with not much head. Aroma is floral, citrus and resiny. Flavor has a very solid bitterness and hop flavor. One of the best session ipas I have had. I would definitely buy this one again.

Truly enjoyed this one...for a 4.5% brew, the assertiveness of the aroma and aggressiveness of the flavor were exciting! 14 karat pour with a moderate eggshell cap that left some lacing behind. Earthy, spicy, and mildly citrusy hops. Orange zest, grassiness, and a backbone of honey and caramel. Nicely balanced and extremely enjoyable. Could drink this stuff non-stop!

Bomber from Hi-Time. Pours hazy golden amber with a slight white head. Citrus aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is citrus (sort of cat pee mild) over some roast caramel. It’s the cat pee aspect that’s cool here. Finishes a little earthy, very citrus, and bitter!!! In an XPA way.

Draft. Yellowish beer with a whitish head. Grainy aroma. Grain and citrus flavor. Medium bodied. Grain and citrus lingers with light earthiness.

Bright yellow pour, white head. Good hops up front, some tropical fruit notes, resin, earhty tones. Pretty nice pale.
