3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a reddish copper color with no head. The aroma has lots of mixed berries and other red fruits like plums and prunes. Hints of alcohol. The flavor has more harsh alcohols. Not too bad, but definitely some solvents and berries. Not much else. Very simple and not super offensive, but subpar.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught, Stateside Craft.
Dark reddish- brown, vinous, woody with a whiff of alcohol and fruity notes. Tart, woody, with deep red fruits, complex, high quality rendition. Not on the Rodenbach level, but well-balanced and delicious.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap. Pours a reddish brown with short foamy head. Aromas and flavors of vanilla, vinegar, and woody green oak. Not much depth. Canít get the expected deep fruits of a Flemish Red.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark color, mahogany with red hue, and compact beige head. The lactic aroma blends well with the fruity tartness, the result is lightly vinous. Good body strength, not too dry, it has strong woody malt flavor, light sourness, and notes of balsamic vinegar; light astringency in the end.
Soft and elegant, very good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark mahogany with an off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto, tart dark fruits, and some light vinegar. Flavour is bizarre, with lots of wood, moderately tart dark fruits, and a dry sharp finish. Very woody and fairly balanced; not overly complex, but quite interesting. Okay.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
21st August 2014
Almost clear dark red - amber beer. small pale tan head. Palate is light, crisp and semi dry. A mellow Flemish sourness, not at all acid and none of the red wine kind of tang you might expect. Little caramel underneath. Touch of soy. Light airy finish. Pretty mellow.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Well, they call this a flemish red, but it doesnít really resemble any true flemish Iíve had. Maaaaaybe the cheaper ones. More of a soft palate, less acidic, with a distinct sweet and sour character in the nose and flavor. Very sessionable, and a pleasant beer, but this is a tough style, and itís below average there
