COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the endemic bird of prey, the Osprey. This beer is clean and dry pale ale with an awesome hoppy nose do to some extreme dry hopping with the Falconers Flight, a tribute blend of hop to Glen Hay Falconer. Because of this we thought it suiting to use a bird of prey for the name of the beer. The hop blend consists of all the great new hops including Citra, Simcoe, Sorachi Ace and some experimental varieties that have not yet me released. Our fans have been asking for a beer like this ever since we brewed something similar a year ago almost to the day. This will be a great spring time beer, refreshing and floral with a light finish and mild hop bite. The Osprey is a fisherman that lives throughout North America. The Cismontane region is one of the few that they live in year round. Learn more about the Pandion Haliaetus or Osprey here: http://www.avianweb.com/ospreys.html

My new favorite Cismontane beer. Pours a pretty orange. Has a good fizz to it. A hoppy bite that hits the roof of the mouth. Some grain and citrus notes in the background. Nice lacing on the glass.

Pours with a hazed golden body with a white head. Aromas are of orange, spicy, hoppy and grassy. Flavors of citrus, grainy, tropical fruit and lemon. Nice and hoppy. Lively bubbles with a dry finish. Nice to try a beer with Falconer’s Flight

I had this on tap at Cismontane Brewing in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. It pours a hazy yellow, like a hefeweizen. It has a mildly hoppy aroma and a lemony flavor with some hops.
