Tap at Congregation. Quick dissolving white head over a hazy yellow body that’s a bit light for saison and many rings of lacing. Aroma is rain-soaked earth and clover. Taste is salty with a sweet aftertaste and a short finish. This is a mild, fuller-bodied, great beer.

Sampled at GABF. Pours a hazy, light gold with some eggshell head. The brewers told us they use the Dupont yeast strain. No surprise, smells just like Dupont, peppery, star fruit, malt. Flavor is sweet, pineapple, pear, white pepper. Dry chalky finish. Over estery and a bit unbalanced.

Cask at City Beer in SF. Pours cloudy yellow with a tiny white head. Elements of under-ripe Asian pear, orange, yeast, bread, and pepper. Refreshing and complex at the same time. I really liked this beer.

GABF. Cloudy yellow, white head. Peppery note, fruity esthers, asian pears, apples, yeast. Interesting beer. A bit more fruit than dry, peppery notes but still pretty decent.

Draught. ours with a hazed golden hued body with a white head and good lace. Aromas are floral, black pepper, medium phenol, dried apricot, spicy phenols, sage and pear. Huge yeast character. Thistle. Flavors are dry, slightly rustic: almost leathery. Peppery phenols, light clove. Low grain, dry and crisp with some orange zest notes.

Pours a pale yellow color with a white head. A pretty nice aroma with a lot going on. Pepper, citrus peel, grass, and straw are all present. A light malt/grain sweetness, some yeast, a light floral note, and maybe some bubblegum. The flavor has a nice dry and earthy quality to it. Some pepper, lemon peel, orange, and other spices. Mild grain sweetness with a nice floral hop character.

Very solid, gold n, light heather, hay, bits of cheese, very drinkable, beautiful, and seems dupont. In character though not richly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Four Point LAX. Pale gold color. Wheaty, biscuity nose. Flavor of wheat bread, slightly buttered, light hops, though nicely f¥dry finish and lightly spicy and peppery. Drinkable but far from impressive.
