Birra nera, doppio malto, vicina alla tradizione inglese sia per gli ingredienti che per il lievito utilizzato. Ha conquistato il terzo posto al concorso "Birra Dell’Anno" 2008 nella sua categoria. La schiuma è bruna ma una volta compattata assume una colorazione tendente alla nocciola chiara. E’ caratterizzata da un profumo intenso in cui emergono lievemente l’affumicato, un lievissimo torbato ed una liquirizia appena accennata. Va bevuta a temperature non troppo basse, attorno ai 12/15 gradi. Si abbina con salumi, affumicati di carne e di pesce, carni rosse e selvaggina. 15.3°

ABV. 5.7%. Clear dark black brown color with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark roasted, roasted, coffee, light chocolate malt, some notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate notes. Undated bottle from Belmont Station with an English back label glued over an Italian one. Deep chocolate brown body with a rich mocha colored head. Faint cocoa, tar and soy sauce black malt. Dry egg shell sulfuric aroma. Dry cheese and sweat sock and balsamic vinegar isovaleric acid. Campfire ash. Burnt resin. Over-smoked vegetables and barbecue burnt ends. Soy sauce saltiness, astringent charred grain husks, texture and sourness of sour cream similar to what you see when lactic acid is used poorly. Watery black malt and burnt brussel sprout finish.
