Complete and utter trash! I’m shocked this crap is getting a 22 percentile rating. "Brewed with pure artesian water." Yeah, artesian water with rats bathing in it! Horrendous aftertaste, thin, disappearing head, color like urine tapped out of a 93-year old’s Foley bag. Do yourself a favor, avoid this beer (and Wisconsin in general) as you would the Black Death.

All, I have to say is it comes in a 30 pack for $9 and I can drink all 30 without a buzz! It is my water of choice!

12 oz can into 16 oz. snifter (yeah, I know, a snifter is overkill for a lawnmower beer). Light, slight grain/corn aroma. Pours perfectly clear, golden, with reasonable head. Flavor of malt and corn; minimal hops. Not as thin as other lawnmower beers. Pretty good for a beer that comes in 30-pack cans.

I first tried LaCrosse to harken back to the "pre-buyout" taste of Old Style. Whether that tale is true or not, I gotta say I was impressed at the amount of flavor Lacrosse has for its price. This is an "everyday" kinda beer ... nothing magical - just solid.

For the sheer drinkablity and price of this glorious beer, you can’t pass on it, two thumbs UP!!!!!!

This, along with LaCrosse Light, are my beer of choice! I have to drive over 30 miles just to by it. BRING LaCROSSE TO MILWAUKEE COUNTY!

My personal mass produced Beer of Choice when I want to pound down a six pack or find in on tap (not often do I find it on tap)
The original recipie of Heileman’s Old Style (or so I was told) that uses the Original Old Style artesian spring water and Kruesiened. (sp?). You will notice that when Pabst moved production from LaCrosse to Miller, they removed those descriptions from the OldStyle Can.
Yes, it not Sam Adams, nor a Cask Condiitioned Ale, but it is a very good Macro Beer (City Brewery is the 5th largest Brewery in the US).
It is not brewed to be a $7 a pint micro and should not be compared.

As far as I know this is the only brewery in the US that still kraeusens beer. This beer is even better than the old Old Style when it was brewed in Lacrosse before Pabst bought it out, moved it to Miller brewery in Milwaukee and ruined it.

Good beer for the price. Krausening gives a nice mouthfeel. Consistency has been a problem with typically a third of beers in a 30pk having a metal flavor.
