12 oz can, purchased for 70 cents....cold. Pours a clear, lifeless gold with a decent sized off-white head...which quickly vanishes with embarassment. Scent is faintly malt, slightly faint corn. Taste is even less so, but thankfully watery enough to distract you from the truth.....almost. Unbelievably ghastly.

Can. An almost imperceptible malt aroma. Golden with a small white head. Like the smell, and almost imperceptible malt flavor. The mineral water I like to drink has more flavor.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2012 Can. Sour corn malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow color with large, short-lasting head. Hint of sweet corn syrup - no malt, no hops. Crap.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2008 Not too bad, we had a beeramid made of this and many other crappy beers freshman year. Donít ever plan on drinking again unless itís in the spirit of getting royally shitfaced.

Cheap and crappy. $8.99 for a 30 rack of these bad boys. I make an effort not to buy bad beer but some of my buddies bought this one and I happen to be in possession of a "Das boot" so I was obligated to drink this crappy beer. I of course wouldnít buy this beer but it did go down reasonably smooth.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2011 Big City 12 0z can. Iíve had this many times before but this is not a memory rate. It is usually one of the cheapest beers you can buy around these parts. Pop the lid and get a slightly sour beery aroma. Pouring into the glass you see the customary clear pale yellow american beer color. Lots of streaming bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass and the head is whitish and thin. The flavor is a little different than you regular old pale yellow lager, industrial and finely metallic of sorts. There is a hint of sourness in there that cannot be described and it certainly does not add to the enjoyability of the brew. Lacing on the side of the glass after a few sips. That aroma keeps pecking at your nose every time you go to get a gulp. Very mild bitterness builds as the drinks go on. Though not real strong on the alky side it does have a cheap malt liquor feel on the palate. The flavor seems to have an aged feel, but not aged for the better. The flavor is not harsh but it does have hints of unrefined cheapness to it. The personality is not too laid back. Tho much carbonation is present in the glass, I do not detect excessive bubbliness during the drink. A beer with a unique cheap wine flavor that I donít think Iíve had before. One pale lager that may be similar in flavor is Chinese Yanjing 11ļ Premium Extra, but this is more in your face with itís industrial hints. The finish on this brew is odd to describe. Tho not really bitter and lingering there is a brackish scunner that can not be ignored. Seems a bit plasticky. Cannot hold a candle to the likes of Miller, carlsburg, rolling rock, lionshead or schmidts. A little too unrefined and rude for a pale lager, tho it is just a little better than King lager. This is a very poor representative of the economy beer style, taste is overall very coarse.

Can from Fort Wayne, IN. Poured amber color with a large frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium grainy sour aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light sour grainy flavor with a light bitter finish of short duration. Drinkable but not something I would recommend to a freind.
