1997 Champion Beer, Cambridge Beer Festival. Finalist 1998 GBBF Olympia. Bronze Award 1999 Beauty of Hops English Ale Awards. Named after T. From bottle. Sweet malty aroma. Hazy yellow in appearance with no head. Malty flavour with a bitterness, overall a weak palette with a dry bitterness.

Bottle conditioned. Darkish golden colour with a large white head. Aroma is hops and oranges. The taste is hoppy and citrusy with a hoppy dry finish. Light bodied. Good session beer I suspect.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London 22 Apr 2006) Golden amber colour. Nose is fruity and hoppy with hints of orange and mandarin. Taste is fruity (citrus), starts sweet but ends in a drier rather hoppy finish. Refreshing and easy to drink, but somewhat on the thin side.

OldMrCrow (1812) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 22, 2006
Cask at Cambridge Blue in Cambridge.

Another very light orange bitters; this one has a mild sour-grass aroma, barely-apparent malts, and a very thin mothfeel. The highlight is the finish, long and dry and without anyo fthe metalic or other off-flavors that haunt many similar brews.

StueyD (1145) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2006
A mid orange, amber colour with a weak head. The nose is initially hoppy, with a touch of citrus fruit, and a slightly floral finish. The taste is light and hoppy, the citrus element is apparent again. The aftertaste is dry, and has the slightly hoppy, floral hint again. (Bottle - Tesco).

Bottle. Very pale beer with a light head, the aroma is light, fruity and slightly citric and the flavour is watery, quite weak with a fruity, bitter and winey finish. Overall disappointing.

Very smooth and easy-drinking bitter. I want more taste than this, and had expecter more from a beer with all these prices and medals!

Cask Conditioned
Amber color. Quite flat flavor, but very nice hoppy aroma and palate; a bit thin, dry mouthfeel, resinous.
