Nov, 2005.Dog & Bone again. A fruity and creamy session bitter served a little warm. Pilsner like kiss of earthy hops in the swallow. A very pleasant drink. [3.1]

Deep amber with a wholesome white head. Yeasty and lightly hopped aroma. Tingly, sweet and slightly hoppy flavours and some fruitiness. Something barnyardy, along the lines of musty straw. A very smooth finish to a beer that is almost too watery but is pretty much a tasty allrounder.

Bottle. Pours red amber with a fluffy head. Earthy hop nose with hints of grass. Some toffee flavours blending with solid bitterness, that actually come out a bit harsh. Light-bodied. Decent enough.

Cambridge Beer Festival. Dark amber, looks still with no head. Aroma is bitter hops, not much else. Slightly watery, but a slight fizz on the tongue. Very average.

Cask @ The Fountain, Cambridge, UK. 26th May 2005
Served slightly green in what might be the brewery tap. Slightly sweet session beer playing in the same division as Greene Kink IPA. Slightly sulphury and a bit of toffee in aftertaste.

Cask@The Market Porter, Borough, London. Not really an IPA, just a standard bitter really, fairly solidly drinkable average cask bitter. Fairly fruity, some citrus i suppose, yeah, clean and flavoursome.
