COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal. Available April to July.
Named after the University summer term. A full flavoured blend of our Boathouse and Atom Splitter beers, creating a lovely red beer with a subtle citrus nose and a hint of roast barley flavour.

Bottle. Light brown/orange colour. Nice light hoppy aroma. Mouthfeel is very empty except for some slight hop bitterness. Crackery and slightly nutyyy malts, with some leafy orangey hops. The mouthfeel was a touch empty.

Cask handpump. Amber with hardly any head. Slightly oily top. Very fruity, lots of sugar. Taste is of citrus fruit and maybe some raspberry, with sugar and a hint of sulphur in mine.

Cask handpump at Cambridge BF ’07. Dark amber with a small white head. Hoppy aroma and a grainy malt taste, but a bit thin and lacking bitterness. I see that this is a blend of Atom Splitter and Boathouse. Sadly it improves on neither.

Bottle conditioned. Orange/brown with a small head. Aromas are light melon, kiwi and earthy hops with some spices. Flavours are earthy, dry with some trace maltiness. HInts of fruit come through (melon and lemon) with a dry finish. Bitter on the aftertaste. Not too impressive.
