Bottle at fathers house. Aroma is sweet malty, one dimentional with some floural hops failing to balance. Taste is also sweet malty and typically scottish and usless. My notes say something about date, which makes me think it was out of date, but they are old notes and i cant quite remember.

Deep brown, roast malt nose, smooth chocolate malt, little sweet but with slightly sour edged little toffee in linger.

Bottle from Tesco. A good looking 80/-, nice deep colour and a good white head that clings to the side of the glass and leaves a delicate lace marking each sup. Typically malty in flavour with a subtle citrus fruit just noticable on the finish. A good example of an 80 bob, better than many of the bigger names, and well worth a bash.

Bottle. Dark amber colour with a beige head. Light roasted, caramel malty, fruity aroma and taste. Medium body with a dry finish.
