Oct 28, 2007 Bottle at fathers house. Aroma is sweet malty, one dimentional with some floural hops failing to balance. Taste is also sweet malty and typically scottish and usless. My notes say something about date, which makes me think it was out of date, but they are old notes and i cant quite remember.

Jun 3, 2007 Deep brown, roast malt nose, smooth chocolate malt, little sweet but with slightly sour edged little toffee in linger.

Dec 18, 2006 Bottle from Tesco. A good looking 80/-, nice deep colour and a good white head that clings to the side of the glass and leaves a delicate lace marking each sup. Typically malty in flavour with a subtle citrus fruit just noticable on the finish. A good example of an 80 bob, better than many of the bigger names, and well worth a bash.
