Slightly overrubbed copper color -- a red. A wet type of metallic nose, like the day after a rain in a salvage yard. Half malty, half bitter. It's fine.

On tap @ Bodega, nice hoppy nose, amber, with a small vanilla head. Hoppy, citrus flavour, good malt background. Chewy, almost crunchy. Bold, big and very good!

Orange with a nice foamy head but very light nose with only faint sweet malt and hops. Metallic aroma, also. Very light and watery at first. Some gritty hops tickles the roof of my mouth while my togue is washed by a bad, almost stale malt flavor. No nice caramel touches here. The malt is pretty bad and the hops is obviously cheap, no love and tender care put into this bottle. Though the bottle says "Union Made" I still can't see my Teamster self picking up any more from this brewer.

City's credo must be "Livin' life on the lighter side" because all their beers that I have tried are doing just that. Not that I am complaining. This APA is quite crisp and clean tasting with a nice "ping" of hops that I haven't experienced in other ales. The flavor involves touchs and hints of malt and sweetness, with the delicacy and finesse of a post-pubescent Goldfinch fluttering and flirting in an amber evening's sunset. It makes me smile.

Not half-bad. Pours orange, with slight hops aroma and a balanced flavor of malts and hops. Pleasant and inoffensive.

Medium amber color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and fruity. A medium bodied pale ale. Malts are a fruity and a touch sweet. Hops are grapefruity and piney. Sweetish and there is a odd aftertaste I can’t place. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Light orange hop aroma. Significant malt in the mouth leading me to ask where those hops went. Solid malty pale ale.
