Bought this one at the Brewers Game @ Miller Park. Poured a medium amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel and citrus (oranges). Light to medium sweet. Thinner body.

Bottle from Pat’s. Pours medium coppery with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of bready caramel malt, perfumy hops, some black pepper. Tastes sharply hoppy, with careamel malt, slight floral spiciness, and a tad of metallic notes. Medium palate heft.

Light amber color with a wispy cream colored head. Aroma slightly floral with a touch of oak. Mild malt again with flavors of oak. Grainy finish.

Medium amber color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and fruity. A medium bodied pale ale. Malts are a fruity and a touch sweet. Hops are grapefruity and piney. Sweetish and there is a odd aftertaste I can’t place. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Not bad for a small brewery. Has little hops flavor. Nothing to make this extraordinary.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Flanagan’s in Appleton, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear orange amber brew with a thin, creamy white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of caramel malt, a touch of citrus zest a touch of spice and white pepper. Taste has a mild pear and fruity flavor, plenty of carbonation, some caramel malt and a touch of tangerine. Finish has a mild bitterness and a semi-sweet fruity malt afteraste that quickly disappears.

Bottled. Nice thick foamy head, some lacing, orange-amber appearance. Extra point for a really great label. Hoppy, fruity nose, pretty sharp for a pale actually, but with a bit of caramel to balance. Flavor not quite as hoppy, more malty, slightly woody/smoky. Decent finish; a real surprise at $4 a six-pack.

Autumn Brew Review 2004. Like JK, I was surprised by this. Kind of a sweet and sticky Pale Ale, but still has some good hop flavor. A little twitch of malt. Certainly not great, but a heckuva lot better than expected.
