3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The body of this raspberry brown ale stands out for me. It is pleasantly creamy and coating. Flavor of tart fruit with cocoa and malt.

On tap at the brewery. Murky reddish brown appearance with a khaki head. Aroma of fresh raspberries and light earth. Similar flavor, fresh and fruity, but not overly sweet, with a light tart finish. Pretty tasty overall.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy dark malty brown with a nice medium sized foamy head. Lovely aroma of puréed raspberries and some sultry nutty chocolatiness. Flavor is a bit light but has a nice flavor of tart fresh raspberries and earthy nutty malt, and a touch of biscuit, and a light touch of chocolate wafer. It’s all wonderfully balanced between malty and fruity.

On tap at City Star poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of raspberry, carmel, cocoa and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of raspberry, carmel and light cocoa with a smooth lingering carmel finish.
