COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beautiful, fragrant golden-amber STOCK ALE, which is akin to a very bitter, fragrant and filtered I.P.A. 15 degrees Plato. Loads of hops! Oh Mama!

City Steam in Hartford. Very good slightly hoppier than session beer beer. As all beers here, good lacing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the restaurant. Pours gold and orange with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus hops, maybe some dough, and grass. The flavor is weak citrus hops and grass, backed up with some sweeter caramel. Pretty average, but drinkable. [1030]

Nice great hoppy smell but there is a disconnect between the smell and the taste. Can’t quite finger it. Decent brew

Deep gold color with a 1/2" white head. More than adequate bubbling. Weak, bitter aroma. Pilsner like skunky hop taste with an extra bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, caramel malt. Flavor of buttery caramel malt, citrus, and hop resins. Super hoppy "blonde" and uber drinkable, great session ale. 7/4/8/4/15 (3.8/5)

I don’t agree with the classification of this being an IPA, but this is a good beer. Aroma was a little weak. Stale hops and not much else. A little thin. Pour was a clear gold with a half finger white head. Taste was nice and mellow. This would be a great session beer. Sweet pilsner malt and sugar up front. Then a nice vanilla cream flavor hits the tongue. This stays through to the aftertaste which brings out the dry hoppiness which is a little weak. The cream flavor is stronger than the hops, so I would not call this a hoppy beer. Nice carbonation. Very refreshing.

Sweet light resin hop aroma. Hazy orange color with a small white head. Light sweet and bitter beginning with a mellowing finish.

Clear golden with dense white head and visible carbonation. Pine/citrus nose. Pine flavor comes through, hint of straw and malt. Finished dry/green. Not too hoppy or heavy. I think the album of the same name is much better.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells citrussy with some resiny hints and touches of pepper. Tastes of sweet malt, citrus, light bitterness. Nice!
