Clear brown with nice long lasting off-white head. Hint of roast and malt sweetness in nose. Caramel flavor, low hop profile, smooth and light.

-growler-shared by KathyW-pours mahogany with a tan head. Aroma is medium/dark malt-roasty, root licorice, some medium fruit. Taste is medium/dark malt-roasty, root licorice, earthy/some medium fruit hops. Soft carbonation, medium body.

Dark brown at the top. Light brown at the bottom. Weak lacing. Vanishing head. Oaky aroma. Light but full flavor. Not too malty. A little molasses and burnt wood flavor. Quite good.

Tap at City Steam. Pours amber-red with a soapy off-white head. Great head retention. Nose is toasted sweet malt, caramel, some bitterness, and lager. Flavor is similar. Nice for this style.

Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Smells of roasted malt, some spice. Tastes spice and sweet with some caramelly notes on the finish.

Tap @ the pub. Clear dark amber color with an off-white head. Caramel aroma with some roast. Light caramel malt flavor that turns to a roasted coffee finish. Clean with a light body.

Tap. Aroma of mildly roasted malt, toasty notes, a touch of sweet chocolate. Flavor largely sweet malt, fairly boring. Fairly light-bodied but still didn’t leave anything to be desired on that front. Not bad.

On tap at City Steam. Pours a clear brown with no head. Aroma of sweet malt and oatmeal. Flavor of sweet malt, fruits, honey. A decent beer.
