Amber with a thin head. The aroma is sweet malts with not much hops. The flavor is fruity sweet for a moment then is extremely bitter. Decent but a bit harsh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the cabin in NH. Pours perfectly clear, penny copper with a large, lasting, slightly off-white head. The nose holds bread, caramel, grains, some unfermented wort, barley juice, light pine and leaves. Light to medium sweet with some dry bread, pine, off smokey notes, dry caramel, berries. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. A bit of dirty, earthy bitterness on the finish with more pine and leaves, dry bread, further off smoke notes, alcohol and more dry caramel. Mediocre, really.

Sampled at Julioís Spring Beer Fest. Pours amber/orange with a small white head. Grapefruit, citrus aroma. Quite sharp. Flavor, too, is bitter grapefruit hops. Not a lot of malt balancing it out. Medium bodied. Decent, if average, IPA.

Pours deep hazy amber into a Sam glass. Off-white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Sour caramel aromas. Medium bodied with stale caramel upfront turning to nutty bread before the lasting bitter earth finish.

crazyvin (1933) - New York, USA - OCT 12, 2013
It poured with a nice clear amber body and a nice white head that had great retention and nice lace. Aroma had a mild caramel malts presence upfront. Nice pine hops a slight hint of grapefruit. Flavor was hop forward. Mostly a dry bitter flavor. Some nice fruity notes and the malts were mild just like the aroma. Nice dry finish a little light on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint at brewpub. Good aroma. Sweet bitter. Grapefruit yet tad sweet. Clean brownish orange color. Ok head and lace. Bitter flavor. Medium body. Creamy thick mouthfeel. Bitter finish. Good. Though itís bitterness would wear thin after a couple. Still decent enough ipa.

Slepkov (36) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2013
Pours a hazy orange brew with prolific and persistent lathery head. The floral hop aromas carry across the room and are reminiscent of pine and citrus. On the palate it is clean with fairly strong carbonation. The hopping is exceedingly aggressive for an IPA (Rather than a double or imperial IPA) with very long lasting and astringent bitterness. Huge IBUs. Lots of pine flavors with some grapefruit and other citrus and a little bit of malt. This beer is all about the bitterness.
