4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
A Most amazing creation from brewmaster Ron Page. There is no innocence about this IPA. at 7% alcohol, it packs a punch. Unfiltered and amber-brown in color. It starts off with a grapefruit flavor and finishes crisp and hoppy. Definately the best IPA that the steam has had in a long time

For those who love a good all american IPA this beer is excellent. Bitter but not too crazy, and no complaints whatsoever!

City Steam in Hartford. Not a strong aroma. Very clear. Good lacing. Not as hoppy as advertised. Kind of a session IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber with long lasting off-white head. Faint pine and malt nose. Toastty caramel with pine flavor. Hop flavor lingers. Fuller palate. This was a really nice looking beer and was very nice overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy orange brew with prolific and persistent lathery head. The floral hop aromas carry across the room and are reminiscent of pine and citrus. On the palate it is clean with fairly strong carbonation. The hopping is exceedingly aggressive for an IPA (Rather than a double or imperial IPA) with very long lasting and astringent bitterness. Huge IBUs. Lots of pine flavors with some grapefruit and other citrus and a little bit of malt. This beer is all about the bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft at the City Steam Brewery Cafe. Pours a clear, amber color with an off white head. Aroma is floral, citrus, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, bready malt, bitter citrus hops, a little pine, with a clean bitter finish. I’m guessing Centennial. A well balance IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Purchased at Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont, MA, enjoyed at my quaint B&B in Boston. Happy to have finally found a place that had a CT beer! Appearance is a slightly cloudy gold with a thin frothy white head. Aroma has a light pine hop smell with a crisp malt backing, smells nice. Taste is pretty good, goes down slightly crisp but also with a good bitterness. There's nothing exceptional about this, but it's pretty solid.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ brewpub. Pint glass. Small, thin white head. Nose of citrus hops. Flavor is a standard, classic IPA. Grapefruit, malty backbone with a slight resin in the back end of the sip. Not complex in any format but.... still enjoyable. Tad above average. Balanced just right.
