3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark orange, creamy white head. EPA nose of black iced tea that warms to citric notes and hints of toffee brittle. Flavor cuts to the chase with a heavier dried fruit tone thats balanced on touches of caramel. Nicely bittered from start to finish. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, soft bittersweet finish. Sessionable and well done. This and thier IPA rule the roost here...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours brown with a white head. Smells tealike with some nice hoppy notes. Tastes lightly hoppy with more tea qualities and a peppery finish.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at the brewpub. The waitress said that this was their best brew. Thatís not a good sign. Itís also not a good sign (and this may only be my opinion) when a brewpub sells BMC. Bitter! And not in a good way. There was something funky (in both the aroma and mouthfeel) about this that just wasnít very good. Very dry and bitter to finish. Not very enjoyable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at brewery with Clarkvv 8/11/05: Mostly clear medium dark amber with a small eggshell colored head that doesnít last too long. The aroma is grains, earthy/floral hops, toffee, and buttery yeast. Taste is caramel, toffee, earthy/grassy hops, a hint of citrus hops, grains, and a tiny hint of diacetyl. Light-medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Iím pretty certain this was listed as an "Amber ale" at the bar.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
I believe they now consider this an "Amber" as the sign on the wall said "Naughty Nurse Amber Ale" as opposed to "Naughty Nurse Pale Ale" like it used to be...3 oz sampler. Slightly sweet, sour funky nose...weird aroma. Transparent copper color with off-white head. Caramelly start, turning roasty and dominated by malts. Hops are vitrually undetectable. Like I said, this is reminiscent of an Amber.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark amber, with a finger of foam. Aroma is sweet grain, and mild and lightly citric hops. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, and uninteresting. Flavor starts with grainy sweetness and light caramel, then turns mildly bitter, with a pleasing and subtle hop finish. Definitely drinkable, but really nothing to get too excited about. A pretty standard flagship offering.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Mild dark malts and flowery hops in the nose. Clear copper coloured with initially large, white, fully-diminishing head. Mild citrusy hops and some caramel malt sweetness. Some lactic character. Very watery body. On tap at the brewpub with DYCSoccer17, MartinT and Rastacouere.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
That lactic character again mesmerizes the light hoppiness into hiding...Uninteresting low carbonation for the style makes the absence of hops even more noticeable...Caramel filaments try to give it some oomph but fail miserably...Maybe I visited on a very bad day?...

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear dark amber pour with minimal head. Aroma of pipe tobacco, very malty...little hop noticable. Sweet taste, vanilla noticable to start, some hop to finish. Drinkable, yet something really missing here -
