COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sunset in color, brewed with a combination of pale and crystal malts, London yeast, and a variety of traditional English hops for a spicy, slightly bittersweet finish and a wonderful fruity and flowery aroma. 12.5 degrees P.

I don't care for the aroma. Mild English hops with a touch of buttery (diacetyl) but this is a very tasty beer. Well balanced with a nice malty finish. I was pleasantly surprised. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thin looking mahogany color body with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma had a mix of caramel malts and done biscuit malts. Maybe a bit of corn. A cherry coke sweetness to it. Flavor had a mix of sweet malts and a generic bitterness which at times seemed astringent. Light palate. Nice beer but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours amber with white head. Nose/taste of toast, earthy fruit, burnt caramel malt and florals. Lighter medium body.

Tap: Moderate amber color with a small head. Smells of light caramel with earthy hops. The flavor is earthy caramel malty, would like to taste a little more bitter to pull the flavors together. Medium body moderate carbonation

Pale brownish amber with a finger of beige head. Malty on the nose, biscuit, cookie, slight brow sugar. The taste is subtle, biscuit, caramel. It’s like it wants to be an American Brown ale, but just not there. Quaffable in a session, but that’s about it.

I have an issue with this beer...it's a triple. A golden colored Carmel triple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at Black Bear Saloon in BDL. The beer pours a clear amber color with a thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Grainy malt and hops in the nose. Light body with flavors of toasted malt, hops and caramel. The finish is sweet with a bready malt aftertaste.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Butterscotch and caramel aromas. Sour butterscotch and toffee front to back. Lasting sour earth finish. Yuk.

Bottle. Pours a clear light brown body with a small fizzy beige head that faded pretty quickly. The nose is just loads of crystal malty with a hefty huskiness and a brewed-tea like note. Minimal to no hops, and some burnt caramel as well. The flavor is overly husky and grainy with too much sweetness and minimal to no hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Can’t say that I care for this one at all.

On tap at the source. Comes to the table a clear amber color with a small head but a decent amount of lace. Smells of light caramel and brown sugar with a earthy spicy hop to provide some balance. The flavor is earth and spicy hop with a hint of skunk and a solid caramel malty backbone. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sweet mouthfeel. Nice approachable easy drinking ale.
