2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Skyview (5031) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - FEB 4, 2008
Sampled at Cellars Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN with joebrew and brewfiend. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates nearly clean with no film or ring. Aroma of sweet corn adjunct with a light citrus zest. Taste is light bodied, light carbonation with a sweet corn and grits flavor with some citrus hop character. Finish is sweet and a little gritty that quickly disappears with hardly no aftertaste. Not sure what to make of this brew except it is a sweet beverage with some stale citrus hop character.

A friend of mine brought this beer from Romania. The bottle looks good. The beer tastes in the beginning like a bockbier, but much to dry, it really turns nasty. Not good.

Bottle 50cl from Romania. Poured a clear amber with a shortlived white head. Generic aroma, hoppy and slightly sweet, perhaps vegetal. Tangy hoppy flavour, a little acidic in the finish. Metallic. Average - what you’d expect from that region of Europe.

Light yellow colored, little white head. Sweet, lemony, estery aroma with mild cardboard. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more cardboardy with esters and some dryness in aftertaste. Lemon also lasts.

Can (BB 06/2007)
Pale yellow color, small white color. Fruity, lemon esters and cardboard in the nose, like in any tropical lager. Acidic, a bit estery (lemon), mostly boring cardboardish flavors. Nothing special.
