2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
A pale lager with a thick collapsing white head. Aroma of solvent and green apples. In mouth, a rather un of the mill euro lager, with crips malt, a bit of cloying solvent notes, boring. 500 mL can from LCBO.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml can, bright clean yellow color, with a bubbly white head, faint corny, grainy honeyed pale, pilsener malt nose with a light haystack accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp pale cereal malt, faint grainy honeyish character with a light flowery grassy herbal hop note with a hint of vanilla, and a mild corny undertone accent, leading towards a mild malty sweetness, light leafy hop bitterness finish.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml can from LCBO. Pours light golden in colour, head is gone in seconds. Interesting, the first smell and taste is of a really nice euro lager. Grassy and nice bitterness, but... gets ugly as it warms. Now it tastes of creamed corn, same aroma. Almost had me fooled.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Second brew from Romania at the LCBO. Can with a best before date written on its bottom: 07.05.2011. Pours a clean light gold colour with a white foamy head that dissipate quickly enough, leaving a bit of lace. The aromas are pretty mild with some grains and some sweetness that reminds me of apple juice. Crisp mouthfeel and medium-bodied. The grassy normal pils taste is found with some light malt. Again, nothing special here (and I think I prefer the Ursus Premium just a bit more).

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear bright gold with good-sized white head. Aroma of grassy hops, bread and a light fruity sweetness. Flavour is mostly of wet cardboard with a little breadiness and some grassiness in the finish. Light to medium body; fairly fizzy carbonation. Pretty mediocre.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
One of the blandest tastless beers i have ever had. Cheap corn, and obvious hop extract, really awful stuff.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
500mL can at the LCBO. 4.8%. Clear watery yellow pour, very pale, with an bubbly white foam that oozes out of the can. Aroma is light malts and extremely grainy, mild hoppiness. Taste is very bland, watery, with a macro lager vibe running right through. No crisp bitter hop edge, not even a pleasant bubbly mouthfeel. Bland and boring...

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can from LCBO. Clear golden with a medium foamy white head with average retention. Aroma is grain, moderate alcohol and herbs. Flavor is malt, astringency, harsh flavor I can’t identify, metal, cardboard and a moderately bitter finish. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can: Clear gold, disappearing head, poor lacing, over carbonated.
Aroma is faint but there is some graininess indicating pasrtial malt beer.
Watery mouth feel, extract sweetness, gristed malt biscuit tone is obliterated by over boiled hops and massive carbonation.
Better than the Turkish abortion in a bottle I just sampled but not by much. Partial extract beer with an annoying hop signature achieved with either over boiling or hop essence over amping.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500mL can from the LCBO. Pours a nice gold with a small white head. Aroma isn’t even that bad, some cereal grainy sweetness and peppery notes. Flavour is also decent, quite clean for something I thought would be riddled with adjuncts. Pale malts with some tinny hop bite in the finish. Lingering maltyness. Pretty drinkable on a humid summer night, and at a very good price I could actually see myself purchasing this again.
