Can: Clear gold, disappearing head, poor lacing, over carbonated. Aroma is faint but there is some graininess indicating pasrtial malt beer. Watery mouth feel, extract sweetness, gristed malt biscuit tone is obliterated by over boiled hops and massive carbonation. Better than the Turkish abortion in a bottle I just sampled but not by much. Partial extract beer with an annoying hop signature achieved with either over boiling or hop essence over amping.

Lager like one in a hundred, but still one of the best in Romania. More bitter and less watery than the rest.

nate2g (1548) - Boomtown! / Waikato, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 26, 2008
Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. A weak malt and hoppy aroma, quite skunky and metallic. Low carbonation with a short bitter finish. Boring.

Fatehunter (1399) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 20, 2013
A half finger of head on a clear, yellow colored body. Poor head retention. The aroma is grain and a stale clover honey. Weird. The taste is quite bitter with a high level of dryness and pucker factor. Not good. The texture is crisp with a ton of carbonation and light body. There’s too much going against this beer.

Canned (5% ABV) Clear golden yellow, creamy white head and lively carbonation. Low-keyed nose. Bready malt aroma escorted by shy grassy hops. Watery mouthfeel. Short, dry finish with grassy hops and some carboardish undertones. Drinkable.

Clear golden appearance, medium head. Malty and grainy aroma with some sweetness. Medium low bitterness, typical Pale Lager style.

500ml can. Pours a chemical lager yellow with a moderate head that lasted longer than I expected, but not very long. Aroma is euro-lager funk, but no skunkiness, likely due to being in a can. Taste is very lagery, wet grain and cardboard. Some earthy bitterness on the finish so it looks like there might actually be some hops in it. Not quite watery the palate is clean even if it isn’t particularly crisp. Overall, slightly notable earthy hops in this one.

500mL can from the LCBO. Pours a nice gold with a small white head. Aroma isn’t even that bad, some cereal grainy sweetness and peppery notes. Flavour is also decent, quite clean for something I thought would be riddled with adjuncts. Pale malts with some tinny hop bite in the finish. Lingering maltyness. Pretty drinkable on a humid summer night, and at a very good price I could actually see myself purchasing this again.
