2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Süßlich-getreidiger Antrunk.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2012 Tall can, such a cheesy one, green with deer on it, made to look like hunters’ beer I guess...pale yellow. The head is fairly stable, and if the color was more attractive it would certainly get a 3. Aroma is almost like a radler or a krystallweizen, is spritzy with some pleasant suble ester and seems clean but bland. Decent, dry, finish in which I even taste some hops. Not nearly as bad as expected! 18.104.22.168.8.......Re-rate in Brasov: Gold with stable head
Aroma mainly sweet nutty malt and those malts are developed nicely in the body, which is solid for a pale lager that is mire like Hellas and balanced with a clean crisp but not hoppy finish. Certainly an up-rate but didn’t get numbers down.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale golden colour with big airy head. Fruity, light metallic nose. Light bodied with fruity flavour and not much else. Really dead mouthfeel. No bitterness and not much flaws but the carbonation.

Bottle in Brasov.
Yet another useless standard lager without any character except the watery taste.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
0.5l bottle, had while in Cluj. Pours a golden yellow with little head. Can’t really smell the aroma for some reason. Palate is dry and has the consistency of bad ginger ale - like very fizzy pop. Flavour is lacking. Really bitter, weak. Watery. Bleck.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled (BB 11/2008)
Pale yellow color, small white head. Corn-malty, skunky nose. Fizzy. Corn, skunky hops, grainy notes. Not much else, a bit like a tropical lager.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
The bottle looks not so good, very old. Aroma is nasty. The flavor the same. Too sourish and too dry, the finish a little bit sweet, that fits not to the rest of the beer. Not good!

0,5 l bottle, thanks, Geir Ove.
A clammy cardboard flavour is covering every aspiration this beer could have in making the Balkan top ten. Forgettable. But it’s another country, isn’t it?

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2007 Draught at a mountain hotel south of Braşov. Pale golden, rich firm head. Grainy nose. Dryish and lightly grassy, clean flavourwise. Low bitterness. Possibly a top choice in Romania.
