Brewed from an original recipe which dates back to 1892, Ciucas beer bears the name of the mountain from which springs it’s most vital ingredient, pure mountain water.

Wow. I am honoured to be one of the few rating this beer. Too bad I couldn’t have shared it with Piscator (the kids opened it for me before I knew what was going on). This was a great beer. My friend smuggled it home from Romania. I am going to ask him to bring some more next time he goes.

Ciucas has a thick, spongy, white head, a clear, bubbly, straw appearance, and some ragged lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet biscuit and a shade of grass, and the flavor is of sweet grain and some mildly bitter, grassy hops. Mouthfeel is on the light side, and Ciucas finishes crisp, refreshing, and tasty. RJT

That’ll be me 20K then! @ ChrisO’s. Can thanks to Dan the Man. Bright clear paleish gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and crispy. A fairly floral lager with a nice touch of lemony citrus. The light dry finish brings a touch of citric peel . Not bad at all!

Can. Small head and yellow appearance. Slightly sweet and quite refreshing but thats about all. As good as I had expected which wasn’t very much. My first from this brewery

White gold with champagne head that fades to film. Corny nose with some stale noble hops. Adjunct sweetness with grassy end. Sour end and tingly linger. Watery, crisp. soft. Bottom end macro. Artificial sweetness, flaccid body + no hop snap. It’d hafta to be real hot...

Süßlich-getreidiger Antrunk. Pale golden colour with short white head. Aroma has fresh notes of malt, bread and a little bit of citrus. Medium body, clear liquid, refreshing lively carbonation.

Can from Prince International Supermarket, Ashford. Pale gold lasting white head. Some lemon on the aroma. Bit thin in the mouth for sure. But no off aromas or flavours. It’s very light, bordering on the light lemony water. Not any real bite on the finish. Nothing wrong with it, perfectly fine. Creamy mouthfeel.

Can from Wb stores, West Bromwich. Golden beer with large foam head. Aroma of light malts and floral. Taste is floral, some spice and light cereal grain. Good.
