On tap: The aroma is light with some citrus, grass, and a hint of banana. It’s a transparent golden-amber with a thin white head that quickly fades to a ring outlining the edges of the glass. The flavor is rather light. It’s starts with just a hint of banana sweetness. The finish is light-moderately grassy with a touch of orange. Light bodied with light carbonation. Again, not as bad as the bottle reviews, but nothing to write home about.

What’s with the CJ’s hate? This beer hasn’t been rated in a few years, but I tried one tonight and it was pretty refreshing. Something in the finish I can’t describe. Banana bread?

from the bottle. poured a cloudy wheat with no head. aroma lemon, yeast, some sugar, citrus. flavor ummmm having a hard time here I hate to say this but it taste like a ashtray. if this had any hint of the aroma this wouldn’t have been that bad. glad I only bought one

I don’t know if this was a beer that I had out of a batch that was bad, but it was the worst beer I have ever experienced in my life and that’s saying alot.

Brad (364) - Berkley, Michigan, USA - JUL 7, 2005
12 oz. bottle: Cloudy orange/golden with a quickly diminishing white head. Aromas are lemony wheat. Flavor is lemons/oranges with a sour tang, so watery.

Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - JUL 6, 2005
12 oz bottle. Not much different then the Belgian Wit, except it’s filtered. Same color, same lack of head. The only thing I get from the arom is lemon. Taste is just nasty as hell. Medicinal, tinny, waxy and salty. Just awful stuff.
