3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Pailhead (3326) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - JUN 7, 2011
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate orange with some light grapefruit. It pours a transparent amber with a one finger off-white head. The flavor starts with oranges, light caramel, and a hint of grain. The finish has some light-moderate grapefruit hops with a hint of lemon peel. Light-medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Definitely the best they have to offer (in terms of their own beers) at the Plymouth location.

Why the low ratings? Nice hop bite. Spruce nose. Solid brew.......................
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 StefanSD (1541) - Lakeside, California, USA - JUL 24, 2010
3 zo taster cup at Michigan beer fest in Ypsilanti. Yellow-amber pour with a small white head. No real aroma to speak of, some light pine. Tastes like a pale with mild hops and some biscuit. Palate was just a bit thin. overall: Kinda weak, more like an English biter that a US IPA.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 gearbike (496) - West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA - APR 21, 2010
On draft at the brewpub. I had this a long time ago and never rated it but I’m sure it is much better now. A nice light copper color (I swear the guy drinking the same next to me had a deeper orange color). Not much of any aroma. A grassy type bitterness. Could use a bit something else such as a fresh piney aspect. But it is very drinkable and went very well with food.

2.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 SuIIy (1828) - Natick, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 28, 2009
Pours a light orange hazy color with a big white head. Nose is very floral, quite nice and interesting. Palate is water. Flavor is very lacking and is watery with no malt backbone at all.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 xnoxhatex (1305) - Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA - MAR 31, 2009
12oz bottle from my GF who got it straight from the brewery. By the look of the other ratings I’m a little scared as to how old this bottle is. Very nice clear orange with beautiful, large creamy white head. Aroma is grassy and piney, it’s not fresh but I don’t think it’s as old as some of these other ratings, caramel malt, very hop forward. Flavor is citrus and medium bitterness, a little grassy, some graininess, caramel, dry. Medium to thin body with okay carbonation. Big upfront bit the followthrough isn’t as good. I’m not saying I’m not enjoying it, it just could be a little fresher and thicker bodied.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Brad (364) - Berkley, Michigan, USA - JUL 7, 2005
12 oz. bottle: Lightly hazy amber color, with a small retaining tan head. Aroma of dull cheap hops. Flavor is overly watery (I think this is the brewery’s theme) there are hops which seem to grow nastier as it finishes, there are some slight malts in the background.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Eyedrinkale (3214) - Astoria, New York, USA - JUL 6, 2005
12 oz bottle. More of the same. Im getting lemons without any real malty balance. It is hoppy but it freakin sucks. Im pissed at this brewery for draggin down my average. Damn them.
