2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 imdownthepub (8470) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2009
Keg at C.K.Browar Brewpub, Krakow. Clouded gold with white head. I thought this was quite wheaty in character, with a slightly sour grain note. It is dry and light and improves toa dry sharp finish. Reasonable.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 saxo (11236) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 9, 2008
Tap at the brewpub. Medium head with medium duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are malt, hops and some flowers. Nice bitter finish.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 omhper (17466) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Hazy pale golden, minimal head. Papery malt aroma. Dryish and light bodied. Fresh crisp malt with a dash of citrus and some fresh aromatic hops. Low bitterness.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DruncanVeasey (6114) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2007
Assuming this is the Jasne/Light. Milk left in the bowl after a corn-based cereal. Headless witbier murk. Dribbles of lemon and yeasty citrus. Waxy with an unpleasant parting bitterness. Oddly refreshing diluted weiss beer.
1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 7, 2006
Draught at the brewpub, a cloudy pale orange colour with a filmy head. A skunky hop aroma with a little citrus. Very carbonated and too cold. Quite wheaty with a sweet fruitiness and a sweet and sour finish.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 rickgordon (3815) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2006
[On draught at various locations, Kraków]
Hazy pale golden colour. Fresh, fresh nose. Flowery with a fresh pils malt feel with that perfect, only light sweetness. Good body, very fluffy and clean mouthfeel. Absolutely flawless and tasty. Perfect balance of sweetness/dryness/bitterness. Almost like a modern style lager, but with a pretty low hop profile. Light citric. Extremely fresh and flavourful. I had this a number of times at various locations and it was always this good.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Nekronos (3184) - Xalapa, MEXICO - APR 11, 2006
not very good, the aroma is interesting, but in the end is the same flavour as many Polish lagers have. The colour was a little like unfiltered, yellow.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Fin (6180) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 31, 2006
20-01-05 and a couple of years ago 09-06-03. Great bar good beer, excellent find. Golden beer with a frothy white head, some bitterness very drinkable and good balance. Had it delivered in a huge tube with which you then dispense it yourself, think there was about 5-6 pints worth shared between my brother, dad and me.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 D (577) - Gdynia, POLAND - SEP 8, 2005
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2005 Brewed by C.K. Browar, Kraków, Poland; available only there. Bought one under the name "C.K. Browar Jasne" (pale), I think it’s gotta be this. I’ve no idea about the ABV, it’s available only on the tap in the aforementioned place. Thick, opaque golden look, like a hefeweisen; medium white head. Fruity flavour, little bitterness, significant malt flavour. Well balanced, pretty good.
