Dashfire is a classic Northwest style IPA. It pours a luscious clear orange color with a persistent white head. The Crystal hops provide a citrusy, fruity flavor and nose along side the resinous aroma of the Summit. The Willamette provides spice notes that play well against the bitter Nugget and flavorful Crystal. The malt bill is firm yet plays a secondary role in this beer- just enough to let the hops shine.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A decent IPA on tap in the Tap Room, imagine that? IPA’s are not their specialty, so this is their best in the style.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from tap to glass. Orange hue with creamy white head that settled but sustained. Aroma is nectarine, pine, resin, sugars, melon, white peppercorn, orange citrus. Mouthfeel is good with medium body and good carbonation. Taste is sweet up front with an astringent bitterness that dominates the following and persists through the finish. Overall this is an ok brew. The hops are a bit jumbled and not very balanced in my opinion and give a rough astringentness that doesn’t flow.
