COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kolsch is a traditional pale ale that was first coined in Cologne, Germany around the 1900s. This German Alt- style bier features prominent hops and finishes crisp, leaving hints of melon and pear. The McKenzie River is mostly to blame for our award winning Kolsch as its mineral profile is perfect for the style.

Nice color, mild aroma and solid body. Good local Kolsch. I'll order again at some point and update my review Leave your pretensions at the door.

Pint from Growl Movement in Salem OR .$4 Cloudy lemon yellow beer with a very small white head. Aroma..weak wheat and crackerish malts. Taste is pretty wheaty..has some kolsch aspects though. Mouth feel is fine. Average rendering of the style..but good on a warm spring day

It was good. Nothing spectacular, but nice to have something different in the Valley.
