COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Irish dry stout has been handcrafted using only the finest ingredients to create a beer, full of character and of true Irish pedigree just like that of the ’immortal black’ Master McGrath. A traditional dry stout, combining rich roasted malts with hints of coffee and dark fruit, balanced carefully by the earthy hops - smooth on the palate with a lingering dry finish!

Cask conditioned handpump GBBF 2011. A black headless beer. A very dry smoky ashtray like aroma which like the taste is possibly overpoweringly dry. Ashy in the mouth too. Has good intentions but by far the dryest stout I think I’ve ever had, and it’s a struggle.

Gravity Dispense at Pig’s Ear BF, London - 05/12/12. Mid black with a thin tan head what clears to the edges. Nose is cardboard, light roast malt, light soap, touch of rubber. Taste comprises light roast malts, hint of chocolate, roast barley. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Drinkable but very dull and uninspiring.

Pigs Ear. The Long Good Friday teamed up with ChrisO. Almost clear dark brown beer. Suddy dark tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Sweetish milky malts, touch of roast. Off putting weird caramel. Dry finish. Messy!
