2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at home (and possibly too cold - my bad) - poured clear amber with good white head - grassy aromas - quite bitter taste. Acceptable example of pale ale - nice enough but doesn’t stand out.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Irish Pale is quickly becoming a euphemism for bland...nothing much to recommend a second bottle in this lifetime

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden cloudy pour with a frothy white head. Little or not hops, not quite sure why they call it a Pale Ale. It’s a lager basically and an average one at that.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.5 l bottle from K-Supermarket in Lohja, Finland. Light amber colour, head was quite OK. Smell has fruits and hops. Taste has them also and also some smoke or tar. Well, I guess, it is just the malts. Interesting, very strong taste of malts.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle 500ml (K-Kamppi)
Clear golden color, small white head, lace. Aroma has light earthy English hoppyness and malts. Light-bodied. Watery. Light citrus-fruity bitterness. Lingering grapefruity aftertaste. Clean palate but watery and a bit boring beer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
The beer is pale and doesnt have much aroma, a bit of yeast actually. The taste is quite boring to be honest, but the finish is long and has a clean bitterness to it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled (from K Citymarket Jouppi, Seinäjoki). Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some bready malts as well as earth and some herbal notes. Flavour is quite similar with a nice resiny touch to it. Easy to drink, but more of a golden ale than a proper bitter.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 04/2015
Aroma has butter, grass, some malt, minerals and English hops. Flavour has grassy hops, some fruity tones, minerals and grainy malt. Finishes with growing grassy tones. A bit hard and quite aggressive hops for a bitter here.
