Bottle at home (and possibly too cold - my bad) - poured clear amber with good white head - grassy aromas - quite bitter taste. Acceptable example of pale ale - nice enough but doesn’t stand out.

Bottle purchased in Derry, shared with Linh and Scarlett in Donegal, Ireland - July 2015. Pours a clear copper body with thin white lacing. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with notes of spicy malts, cat piss and tinny metal.

Irish Pale is quickly becoming a euphemism for bland...nothing much to recommend a second bottle in this lifetime

Golden cloudy pour with a frothy white head. Little or not hops, not quite sure why they call it a Pale Ale. It’s a lager basically and an average one at that.

0.5 l bottle from K-Supermarket in Lohja, Finland. Light amber colour, head was quite OK. Smell has fruits and hops. Taste has them also and also some smoke or tar. Well, I guess, it is just the malts. Interesting, very strong taste of malts.

Bottle 500ml (K-Kamppi)
Clear golden color, small white head, lace. Aroma has light earthy English hoppyness and malts. Light-bodied. Watery. Light citrus-fruity bitterness. Lingering grapefruity aftertaste. Clean palate but watery and a bit boring beer.
