Light amber with a light haze, creamy white head, lacing. Caramel malt aroma but not a whole lot of hops. Light sweet malty taste with thin metallic hops and very watery body. Boring.

341 ml bottle. Pale amber beer with a thin white head. Pale malt aroma with a slight touch of honey sweetness, light fruit and faint nuttiness. Some alcoholic aroma sneaks in here. Sweet nutty malt flavour with a lingering earthy hop flavour. OK.
1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 Sammy (6119) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 14, 2006
On-tap at West 50 Pourhouse. Some amber colour. Creamy but awful taste made it terrible and undrinkable. The moose was loose.Muddy and I wish more watery, like terrible cold herbal tea in foul water.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2003
Toronto Festival of Beer 2001 - My friend raves about this from her time in Halifax, and I can understand why. It's awesome for a big brewery beer, dark in color, on the sweeter side. It had me thinking of vienna lagers as well, would be interesting to do a comparison to St. Andre [which I'd had earlier] or some others like that.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 HogTownHarry (4872) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2006 Bottle (341ml). courtesy of tupalev. Poured clear copper-tinged gold with an average fizzy white head - very bright colour indeed. Dry malt and light earthy aroma, soft herbal hops - nothing special but pretty clean for Moosehead. Taste is very light, lightly toasted malt, hint of bubblegum, mildly hopped (tastes like the hops weren’t washed completely, gives it that "fresh garden" taste) - very fast finish, again, pretty clean but nothing special. Light bodied, nicely carbonated, slightly weedy aftertaste - only decent
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 blankboy (4447) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 20, 2006
Bottle courtesy of tupalev. Pours a clear amber with an average size lasting white head. Sweet grainy aroma with sugar and light hops -- just O.K. Flavour’s a little sweet, grainy and somewhat watery with a hint of fruit and a very light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Not very good.
