COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of the Moosehead "Clancy's" line of "Craft" beers. A decent amber, with a malty nose and well balanced flavor.

Good out of the bottle but much better on tap. It’s all about the Ale!

A great attempt at getting that ’micro-brewed flavour’ into a production beer. I rather like it!

This was actually pretty good for Moosehead brewing. Easy to find in the Maritimes, and pretty decent to boot.

Toronto Festival of Beer 2001 - My friend raves about this from her time in Halifax, and I can understand why. It's awesome for a big brewery beer, dark in color, on the sweeter side. It had me thinking of vienna lagers as well, would be interesting to do a comparison to St. Andre [which I'd had earlier] or some others like that.

This beer offers a dark amber color woth notes of sweet malt on the nose. The palate shows the toasty malt flavors with a bit of hops.

Thick creamy head. Smells kinda like butterscotch. Not a very defineing taste however has a sweetness to it. Not a bad beer.

Sweet malt aroma, amber, good creamy white head. Roasted malt, a hint nutty, pleasant bitterness. Smooth, lots of carbonation, fair.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2005 A really enjoyable beer. Kinda like candy. The Draught is the best....far superior to the bottled version. Goes down smooth, no bad aftertaste.
