Similar to the Del IPA, this DIPA is more a muddle of hops to me. Probably more due to my cleaner preference in my hop bombs. Good strength to it and the malt backbone is good but not quite there for me.

Tap at CCA. Clear orange pour. Webby white lace. Nose is sweaty, juicy cantaloupe. Sticky all over in body with a spicy, biting mouthfeel. More juicy cantaloupe. Biting, near metallic mouthfeel and finish.

Draft at the source. Clear golden color, white head, solid lacing. Aroma of pine, tropical fruit. Taste is balanced and fruity.

Clear orange pour and a white head. Malt sweetness of caramel up front. Some sweet pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and floral hops. A light pine note and floral hops. Bitter flavor with lots of pine and grapefruit peel. Some caramel, grass, floral notes, and orange. Light tropical note and an acidic finish.

On draft at the brewery. This beer poured a hazy golden orange pour with a nice small white head. I love that they didn’t serve it in a pint glass like most places. I can definitely pick up on the simcoe hops in the aroma of this beer, they give off a faint hint of white onions but its nicely mixed with Falconer’s Flight which give it a nice fruity aroma. The taste of this beer is very nicely balanced between sweetness and bitterness. The stuff goes down way too easy. Very well done guys. RIP Dude!
