COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION This beer starts as a tasty West Coast style red ale featuring Columbus and Zythos hops. Then we age the beer for several weeks on new medium-toast American oak. The result is a complex beer with wonderful vanilla and oak notes.
6.5% ABV, 72 IBU, 14 SRM
Amber pour with an off-white/khaki head. Moderate oak aroma, some floral hops, grass, and toasted bread. A bit of toffee sweetness, maybe some vanilla, and cocoa. The flavor is sweet caramel, toffee, and toasted bread. Mild oak, vanilla, and cocoa. Grass, a touch bitter, and oaky.
